The Dojang (도장) is the place to practice Hapkido. Literally this is the place to learn (Jang) Track (DO).
traditionally available to students following the following logic.
They face the teacher, in order of the belts. The
Yudanja (유단자), as assistants, are on the right hand column. It is reserved for them. It should be seen as black belts.
Then the Yugeupja (유급자) are positioned from right to left in the order of ranks, the white belts found on the left column. Each practitioner must ensure
to adjust its position in line with hapkido-in in front of him and the one on his right.
The columns need not contain a single color (except the column of black belts). It is preferable to have the same number of students per column. In this case the highest grades of the column in front of the lower grades.
If a student is allowed to arrive late, it is positioned at the rear of the appropriate column, which avoids disrupting the course.
